Journey from Slave to Slave

With intentions on releasing I Am Lady Sasha in late March I have once again delved into editing mode. And once again I am battling with the text.

Because I am my own worst critic and I feel that the story of Lady Sasha is much too large for one volume I have added the sub-title: Journey from Slave to Slave. This first book will contain the vital information needed to get through Sasha's experience from being sold as a slave to an undeserving Master to becoming a dedicated submissive for her community to use as they see fit. Much of the prologue is reminiscent of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings with its chapters explaining the last thousand years, the use of psychoactive drugs in every day life, the laws as stated in The Black Book delivered by Pestilence, and dividing of the lands. The back story is just as important as the main tale as readers will find when Sasha explains her ancestors role in the re-creation of society.

The inclusion of scetches (Province maps, coats-of-arms, and beast concepts) has been weighing on my mind a lot. If the coats-of-arms are shown I fear more writing will need to be done before publication. Each colony has their own beliefs and practices so the images suit their convictions. Are explanations needed? Will they be welcome? As for the map of the northern province, it still needs a few smaller communities added, however, perhaps those should be added in later books when specific stops on the map become more relevant?

The cover art reflects the laws of Sasha's world and thus remains free from imagery. My headshot, as always, is also not shown on the back cover for this reason.
