Cry Me A River

Today I want to talk about a particular kink.
Dacryphilia.
Dacryphilia is arousal from... no. You didnt guess it. Or maybe you did, I dont know. Drum-roll please...

tears.
How interesting is that? Because seriously, Im not going to lie... I can see it, I can understand it, I can even get in on that and I'll tell you why; from a different perspective of course *wink*
Crying is so often associated with negative emotions such as melancholy, grief, and pain. What about the other side of the spectrum though? And Im not talking about laughing until your face leaks; I am talking about euphoria. Real, intense, Iccarus soaring in the sun, floating on the clouds, on a Caribbean vacation in the middle of a New England winter, no worries, no deadlines, no boss, no customers, no nothing... just perfect peace within your mind and body, Euphoria. (Who said sex couldnt be religious? Maybe Buddha didnt give us all the secrets.)
The secretion of tears, on a submissives part, may come unannounced along with this euphoric feeling; silently sliding along the contours of his or her beautiful face. Im told, from a Doms perspective, its the most wonderful thing to witness. "Feeling her open up and let each of the sensations radiate in an ever expanding spiral of bliss until her hazy eyes widen and her mouth opens but nothing comes out as her body falls apart at the seams... They taste different too. I always kiss away her gift; happiness is sweeter." -Sir Dominic
If his description doesn't get you a little hot... see a doctor!
After further discussion Sir Dominic and his beautiful sub, laura, were kind enough to share with me the time it takes in preparing for a tear filled session. I was shocked for two reasons. First, there is no preparation for play involving dacryphilia (in their relationship), and second, because laura is the fetishist in this scenario. All of my reading on the subject points to the Dom having this type of kink, so naturally I had about a hundred questions pop up.
The lovely laura explained that at first she was scared and confused, as was her Sir. He was worried about how fast she dropped, but no matter how she tried to explain to him that she was "not anywhere near being sad or empty" but rather that she "felt fucking great, I just couldnt stop crying, but i was smiling the whole time. I was so frustrated (with Sir) that I started laughing because there was nothing else I could do, anger just didn't exist anymore."
I hope this glimpse behind the curtain has enlightened you on the interesting fetish of dacryphilia, also known as dacrylagnia.
